ORIGINAL "VAMPIRELLA" WARREN MAGAZINE COVER MODEL BARBARA LEIGHBARBARA LEIGH is the ORIGINAL "VAMPIRELLA" WARREN MAGAZINE COVER MODEL. The announcement that a Vampirella Movie was to go into production from Hammer Films during 1976 was made at the Famous Monsters of Filmland Convention in 1975 and present were Barbara Leigh (in full Vampirella costume), Peter Cushing (who was to star as Pendragon), Michael Carreras (head of production for Hammer Films) and James Warren.  Barbara did a photo shoot as Vampirella and these photos were eventually used as covers for Warren's Vampirella Magazine when the Movie did not go into production.   BARBARA makes a return Convention appearance for the 45TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEBUT FIRST ISSUE OF VAMPIRELLA taking place this year.  To celebrate this milestone for Vampirella, Dynamite Entertainment has just released a new book, The Art of Vampirella: The Warren Years. The Book reprints many of the Vampirella Magazine covers including the Barbara Leigh/Vampirella covers on issues#67,69,71,73,74,76,77,78 (#73 is a painting of Barbara as Vampirella by Bob Larkin). BARBARA starred in Movies such as Junior Bonner with Steve McQueen, The Student Nurses (from Roger Corman's New World Pictures), Terminal Island also starring Tom Selleck (Magnum P.I.), Marta Kristen (Lost in Space) and Don Marshall (Land of the Giants), Seven with William Smith, Pretty Maids All in a Row with Rock Hudson, Angie Dickinson, Roddy McDowall, James Doohan (the script was by Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek).  Barbara also guest starred in an episode of The Incredible Hulk.  Barbara posed in two celebrity issues of Playboy.  Barbara has written a book called The King, McQueen and the Love Machine: My Secret Hollywood Life with Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen and James Aubrey. SARA LANCE/BLACK CANARY ON THE CW'S "ARROW"CAITY LOTZCAITY LOTZ stars as SARA LANCE/BLACK CANARY on the CW'S hot TV series "ARROW" based on the DC Comic Book. Some of Caity's other credits include starring in the dance film Battle of the Year opposite Josh Holloway ("Lost") and Science Fiction film The Machine where she garnered rave reviews for her performance and has received a nomination for "Most Promising Newcomer" in the British independent Film Awards.  Caity also starred in The Pact, a breakout film at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.  On Television, Caity is known for her recurring role as Stephanie on AMC's Mad Men, as well as Officer Kirsten Landry on MTV'S Death Valley. John K makes a return visit to take more sketche commissions after his popular appearance at this year's May show. John K has worked with Music acts such as Bjork and Miley Cyrus (as artistic director on her recent Bangerz tour) in adding animated sequences to music videos. John K will have tables at the Convention from 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. doing caricatures, rates are B/W for $75.00 and color for $125.00.  Two characters B/W is $100.00, color is $150.00.  Character drawings are B/W $50.00 and additional characters $25.00 each.  Color is $75.00 for one character. Check at John K's table to confirm all these rates.  John K will have Spumco merchandise for sale at his tables where he will also be signing autographs.

MARVEL AND DC COMIC BOOK ARTIST, ANIMATION DIRECTOR CHUCK PATTONCHUCK PATTON is a Animation Director and Marvel and DC Comic Book Artist.  As an Animation Director, Chuck is  known for his work on Todd McFarlane's Spawn: The Animated Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 version), NFL Rush Zone: Season of the Guardians, Dead Space: Downfall, Double Dragon (1994), Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas, Swamp Thing, G.I. Joe (1990 series). Chuck was the regular artist on Justice League of America#217-239, Tales of the Teen Titans#56-58,74,75, Teen Titans Spotlight#13,16, Green Lantern#163, 177, The Flash#320-323 (The Creeper stories), The Brave and the Bold#198 (Batman and the Karate Kid), Action Comics Weekly#613-618 (Nightwing and Speedy stories), The Vigilante#6,7,31,33,35, Blue Beetle#10.  Chuck also did the artwork for such Marvel Comic titles as Daredevil#245 and Classic X-Men#14,15.  Chuck co-created with Writer Gerry Conway such characters as Vibe (who will be featured in the new The Flash TV series on the CW) and Gypsy.
